We would like to give the answers because many users ask about the difference between OfficeMail and Nine. When it comes to the difference between Nine and OfficeMail, unlike Nine, OfficeMail and its service will be operating on a subscription basis. On the other hand, Nine is a standalone app without any support for the app. Therefore, we couldn't add new features relating to the server issues. Push notifications have not been available for all folders in IMAP accounts in the meantime, except for EAS accounts. Having a service for the app can make it possible for us to provide such services. Apart from that, we can implement new services for the apps and provide many valuable features to be used in the business environment. Now that we can get the expansibility to go to the next phase to develop new services and the apps we want, As you know, many features and functions have been added to OfficeMail, and we have the push server services independently. OfficeMail can support not only Exchange ActiveSync but also Microsoft Graph. I don't really want to list the features here. If you want to know about the new features, you can check them out on the following OfficeMail page. (https://www.rework.so)
Last, we would like to say something about our situation. Of course, we are afraid that having to tell our customers this can sound unpleasant. But we want to tell you why we made this decision. We're a small company that's been developing and selling apps on the market for nearly a decade. However, we have endured really difficult times with app sales alone to have the opportunity to do what we want to do, and we have continued to communicate with customers satisfactorily up to this moment. But our customers want permanent support for the apps we are selling under a permanent license. This decision was made because I could not afford to continue development without any more stable revenue. Customers have kept demanding continuous version upgrades and performance improvements for once-purchased apps, but we find them increasingly difficult to afford. I think you get to notice it because you mentioned it already above. We might not be able to maintain the app anymore if we don't keep getting stable revenue. Therefore, we had no choice but to change app sales to subscription-based. After that, we thought we could do more work to add new features to the app. We would appreciate it if you could understand the circumstances we put in place.
